The 2 routes are:

  • Green Line: Covers central Munich, from Karolinenplatz to the charming Bavarian village of Haidhausen in the east. See landmarks like Frauenkirche and the City Hall at Marienplatz, the grand buildings at Stachus square (Karlsplatz), the Deutsches Museum and the National Theatre building.
  • Orange Line: See the baroque palace and the olympic village. From west to the stunning baroque Nymphenburg Palace, and then north to Olympiapark, purpose-built for Munich's 1972 summer Olympics, hop off to visit Nymphenburg Palace, or explore Olympiapark's stadiums, tower and sportsgrounds.
