Also known as 'The Rock', the federal prison once established on Alcatraz Island is synonymous with notorious bank robbers and murderers like Al Capone, 'Machine Gun' Kelly, and the 'Birdman of Alcatraz', Robert Stroud. Now empty, and managed by the National Park Service, you can explore the infamous facility on a 45-minute audio tour "Doing Time: The Alcatraz Cellhouse Tour" featuring prisoners and correctional officers who used to live and work on Alcatraz.

Note: The specific departure time for your ferry ride to Alcatraz Island will be provided to you upon redeeming your voucher.

Wheelchairs can be collapsed down and stored on the bus but the buses are not equipped with ramps and therefore passengers would need to walk up 2 steps.
