You may board the bus at any stop. The voucher can be exchanged at any of the stops directly with the driver.

On this hop on hop off tour you are free to create your own sightseeing itinerary. You can hop on at any of Genoa’s stops and hop off whenever you want to visit one of the attractions. This 8-stop tour ensures you will not miss a single sight or attraction in the city.
Your ticket allows you unlimited use, meaning you can hop-on and hop-off as many times as you like at any of the designated stops
Some of the stops included in the tour are:
1. Caricamento: From here you can see the completely renovated Porto Antico (Old Port) designed by Renzo Piano with some wonderful examples of avant-garde architecture. You can hop off for a visit to the panoramic elevator Bigo, Genoa Aquarium or Genoa Museum for Antarctica.
2. Piazza Fontane Marose: Via Garibaldi is lined with UNESCO Heritage buildings such as Palazzo Rosso, which houses one of the most important art collections in the city, Palazzo Lomellini and Palazzo Balbi.
3. Piazza de Ferrari: From here you can see the Carlo Felice Opera House, San Lorenzo Cathedral and Museum, Columbus’ House and many more attractions.
4. Caravelle – Piazza della Vittoria: Visit the Natural History Museum, the Fiera di Genova exhibition centre and the picturesque Boccadasse fishing village.
5. Stazione Brignole: From here you can take the public bus to Corso Italia promenade, San Giuliano Abbey, Nervi Parks and the Porticciolo (Ancient Harbour) among many other destinations.
6. Via XX Settembre: Here you will see Santo Stefano Church, the Oriental Market as well as the shopping area of Via XX Settembre.
Stops Carignano, Acquasola, Portello, Stazione Principe, Cruise Terminal among others.
You may hop on and hop off at any of the above mentioned stops at your convenience and then hop back again when the next bus comes along.
Your booking voucher can be exchanged for your Hop-On-Hop-Off ticket at any one of stops. Simply choose the stop which you wish to start from and present your voucher to the driver who will exchange it for a ticket that will be valid for 48 hours from that time.

Genoa tour - Good tour, great that it picked up right outside the cruise port terminal. Audio guide was ok, but more descriptions could have been provided. How about some Italian music playing instead of classical music?
