Explore Auschwitz-Birkenau Memorial and Museum and learn about the infamous Holocaust with skip-the-line admission to this UNESCO World Heritage Site.
Start this intriguing tour from Krakow city centre. You can also choose to be picked up from your hotel. While on your way to the site, watch a short documentary film - The Liberation of Auschwitz. Once you reach the camp site, you will meet your guide, who will take you inside Auschwitz. You will see the infamous inscription ‘Arbeit Macht Frei’ over the entrance gate, which translates to – “work makes you free”. During the tour, you will realise how ironic the slogan is.
Discover the history of World War II and the Holocaust in Poland as you tour the museum and preserved sights, such as barracks, railroad tracks or rows of gas chambers chimneys. It is a truly haunting experience as you step back in time and relive the incarceration, suffering and torture of millions of Jews, one of the heinous and gruesome episodes in world history.
End the tour with return transfers to your hotel in Krakow city centre or any other place of your choice on the way.

For the comfort of visitors with mobility problems, the museum provides substitute wheelchairs of sizes that allow moving around the grounds and buildings. Our driver will help you arrange a substitute wheelchair.
Visitors are generally allowed to take pictures with a few, clearly indicated exceptions.
All round excellent. Communication by email before the day concerning pick-up location and time and then by phone on the morning of the tour. Driver explained shape of the day clearly so we understood exactly what would happen. The tour of Ausschwitz Museum itself was a bit swift - I would have liked more time to read some of the information but it is extremely busy there and as a group you have to follow the flow of traffic. For a first visit and for those on a tight schedule, this is just the job!
