The Museo Nacional del Prado is the main national art museum in Spain and boasts of the best Spanish fine art collection in the world. And, with Spanish masterpieces such as Velázquez’s Las Meninas, Goya’s Saturn Devouring His Son, and Jacob’s Dream by Ribera, it’s easy to see why! But, the Prado Museum is also considered an international museum heavy-weight for its collection of works by other major European artists, as well!

Some of the stops of the Historical Madrid Route are suspended due to the pedestrianization of Puerta del Sol. We will soon offer a new definitive touristic route.

The Prado Museum is wheelchair accessible, with the exception of certain areas connected to the Villanueva Building.
