Take a fine art field day at the Prado Museum!
The Museo Nacional del Prado is the main national art museum in Spain and boasts of the best Spanish fine art collection in the world. And, with Spanish masterpieces such as Velázquez’s Las Meninas, Goya’s Saturn Devouring His Son, and Jacob’s Dream by Ribera, it’s easy to see why! But, the Prado Museum is also considered an international museum heavy-weight for its collection of works by other major European artists, as well!
Don’t worry if Spanish art doesn’t speak to you. The Prado Museum displays well-known pieces by Rembrandt, El Greco, Raphael, Dürer, and many more. Of particular interest is Caravaggio’s David and Goliath. So, take your time while browsing one of the greatest art collections of all time and you just might discover an unexpected fondness for something new! Well, new to you, anyway…

The Prado Museum is wheelchair accessible, with the exception of certain areas connected to the Villanueva Building.
