Retrofitted in 2009 for environmental reasons and others, the Empire State Building won a gold Leadership in Energy and Environmental Design award in 2011. Be sure to check out the modern Sustainability exhibit on the 2nd floor. It highlights the state-of-the-art technology and innovative methods that went into the $120,000,000 project with the use of digital displays, sculptures, and real building material.
After an elevator ride to the 80th floor, you’ll discover the original documents, period photos, and architectural notes that went into the planning and construction of one of the most recognizable skyscrapers in the world at the Dare to Dream exhibit. Then, it’s time for another elevator ride to the 86th floor and the iconic, open-air observatory of the Empire State Building. What you then do from 86 stories above the New York streets is up to you!
Voucher information: No need to print! You can show your voucher on your smartphone or other devices. (But if you’d rather print a copy – that’s fine too!)
The Empire State Building is wheelchair accessible.
You can save some time avoiding queues at the ticket counter but since this is a general admission ticket, their is no privileged access to Empire State Building.
