We took the 3-day hop on-hop off tour and it turned out to be one of the best decisions we made as far as our Paris trip was concerned. We were able to cover most of the must see sights on board the bus. We did the yellow route on our first day, the green route on our second day and the orange route on our third. we didn't have time to take the blue route. Our package included a hop on - hop off batobus river cruise which had 8 stops. The routes were very comprehensive and we didn't have to take the public transport during our entire stay. There was a bus stop very near most of the sights so everything was convenient. We didn't have to wait very long for the next bus to arrive so we were able to maximize our time.

It was a lovely trip but we didn't have a guide. We saw so many things which we wouldn't have had the time to see if we were only walking. The driver had a sense of humour and made a few jokes.

I had such an amazing time in Paris, and a big part of why was because of the bus tour. It made it so easy to see Paris, and especially for someone traveling solo, it is the perfect way to get around.

This is an excellent way to start your visit to the city. It provides an excellent overview of the key landmarks and historic facts. Totally recommend it.
