  • TooTBus: Paris Open-Top Bus Tour
    Excellent network of tours
The fact this lot have four routes makes this a very useful service. We used the buses extensively over the two days of our ticket which gave us an excellent overview of places we wanted to spent more time. One note though, the earphones they provide are not hugely comfortable so it might be worth taking your own!

  • Siam Park (Aquatic Park)
Best Waterpark visit in the Canaries
Went to Siam waterpark in Tenerife early in our recent holiday. Had been looking forward to this having been to Disney waterparks last year, and our 6 year old was really excited too! Generally, the layout and quality was as expected (very good) although the lazy river was a little too lazy and needed a bit more of a current to keep you moving, no more so than when we chose to go through the "fast" bit which took forever to load, and then having gone up the incline took even longer to get to the exciting drop at the end. Loads of people decided to get off their rubber rings and walk it! The majority of the slides were aimed at slightly older ones so our child was a little scared, but the wave pool and childrens play area was excellent. We even convinced her to go on the dragon which to be honest gave me a heart stopping moment when we came into the giant fnnel so who knows how she felt. The only one we didn't go on was the tower of terror, but the missus did and she said it was fantastic. Well done to her for having the guts to tackle such a challenging drop! We did go on the snakes and chose the middle of the three slides, and I was caught out when we plunged into total darkness which seemed to make the ride even faster. The little one was not impressed when we shot out the bottom and vowed never to ride that one again! Overall a good day out and the only sticking point is the initial price to get in, although once inside they offer you the chance to return again within 14 days at a discounted price which seemed like better value. food was ok, lockers reasonable and good changing facilties. If you want a day away from the boring hotel pool this is the one for you. We booked with isango before we left England and it couldn't have been easier, we paid by card and printed our own ticket there and then. On arrival we merely showed the voucher and we were shown through the gates. A good service and simple to operate. Would recommend highly and hope you enjoy as much as we did! B McB April 2012

  • Barcelona Hop On Hop Off
    Fantastic Tour Experience!
My wife and I travelled to Barcelona with our 20 month old daughter for a short break. We wanted to see the city and it's beautiful sites and chose the Barcelona City Tour because of the great routes that it offered and because of the modern, comfortable buses which have canopy roof covers that extend should it rain. The tour green route took us all along the coast and then round past most of the major sites in the eastern and central parts of the city, including La Sagrada Familia and Park Güell which were both high on our list. The seating was comfortable and the audio guide was clear and informative. I was also particularly pleased with the ease at which we were able to get on and off of the bus with our daughters buggy (stroller). We felt particularly safe leaving it in the downstairs area of the bus knowing that there was a Barcelona City Tour guide on-board full time. Would recommend this tour for any families or couples wishing to see Barcelona's beautiful sites!

  • City Sightseeing Glasgow
    Such Service!
After a tiring 2 days walking Edinburgh, to board the Hop on bus in Glasgow we were in heaven... albeit a cold one. The buses and the commentaries miss nothing of this wonderful city. The live commentaries each have a different nature but all are insightful and interesting. The value for two days is good and allows you the delight of the tour and the convenience of hop on/off. The buses run to the schedules so the timetables,at each stop, allow you to plan the length of your stop offs. Glasgow was our first experience of Hop on Buses and given this great experience we will do it again.
