The tour itseflf was very nice. It was wonderful to be able to ride in comfort around Paris, and not have to worry about walking too much or getting lost on the Metro. However...we were not informed correctly about the pick-up stop at Gare de l'Est. We were told the it was near the Musee de Crystal, but that Museum no longer exists. Also, this museum was on a side street no where near the actual bus stop. Intstead, a street name or intersection would have been a much better way for us to us locate the stop. Also, we were not aware that it was the l'Open Tour bus that we were supposed to catch. I was looking for a bus with the Isango logo on it. All this led us on a useless walk all over the 10th Arrondissement, when the actual stop was less than a block from our hotel.

The bus tour is great for getting to know Paris and I would highly recommend it for anyone's first trip to Paris. It gives a good understanding of where everything is and much easier than trying to walk everywhere in a short time. We left the boat tour till the last day and could not find where to get onto the boat so would recommend that you ask the bus driver in advance so that you know where to go.

What do you do if you have only 24 hours in Paris. You take a Isango bus and boat tour! My wife and I just returned from a trip to Europe for a family event and we scheduled a 24 hour stop over in Paris. We selected the bus and boat tour package and it was the best things that we could have done. We saw a great deal of the sites that were on our list and were able to get on an doff of the bus and boat at will. We would recommend Isango tours to anyone going to Paris, if you are going for 1 day or 1 week. It is a great way to get to know the City.

Hop-on-hop-off buses are the best way to become acquainted with a new city. They are convenient and cover all the "must-see" places.
