It was my first visit to Madrid, even for my friends who accompanied me. We thought to taking the Hop on Hop Off tour on the first day of our holiday so that we'll get acquainted with the place. This was one of the best decisions we took for this holiday as the tour was very informative and we saw a big part of Madrid. I recommend it to anyone visiting Madrid for the first time

Got a 3 day pass and took full advantage of it. Make sure you start early in the day as it gets quite busy later on. Optional Batobus cruise was great, especially early in the morning if you like to take photos..

Visits all the major points of interest and more, with informative commentary on all four bus tours. The guide booklet and map helped with planning. Our "3 days for the price of 2" bus and boat offer was great value for money. It enabled us to plan our own route at our own pace stopping for as long as we wanted when we found something interesting. Best views were from upstairs on the buses, even though on our first journey it was pouring with rain. This only marred the enjoyment a little as we had come prepared with waterproofs, determined to make the most of the tours despite all that the weather could throw at us. (we did get some strange looks form the locals) The addition of the Batobus gave us the opportunity to sample a peaceful romantic cruise under the bridges of Paris whilst giving us a different viewpoint of the famous landmarks.

The guide was very informative and very funny. This is the best way to get a quick overview of the city and the fact that you can use the pass for two days, means you can use it to revisit sites that interest you. We have used the Hop on Hop Off in several cities, and the consistency of tours is the main reason we don't go with the competition.

This tour is Awesome, it is the best/easiest way to see all of Paris. We did the Green tour it was perfect. The only things which weren't the best is the bus driver was not very friendly and we did not stop at the Trocadero which was on the map. We wanted to get off to take pictures of the Eiffel tower in the background. I would recommend this tour as one of the best.
