Museums of the Venetian Islands: Glass Museum and Lace Museum

Step into the Golden Age of Venetian glass at the Venice Glass Museum! View exhibits containing Roman glass artworks from the first century A.D., contemporary pieces, and everything in between! Here, you can see works from the 1400’s by Angelo Barovier, inventor of clear glass. Also on display are glass masterpieces decorated with diamond-point engravings by Vincenzo d’Angelo dal Gallo in the 1500’s.
