Explore the Colosseum, an imposing arena that brings to life the days of Ancient Rome. Steeped in bloody Roman history, the Colosseum was the site of many gladiator battles and executions. As you reach Palatine Hill, you can admire sweeping views over the Roman Forum and the Circus Massimo which was once a site for chariot rides. Finally, you'll follow the Via Sacra, the main street leading to the Roman Forum, which was once famous for its elaborate celebrations and processions. The tour will end with a visit to the Temple of Caesar, where the famous Emperor was cremated.

THE COLOSSEUM

It is compulsory to provide the first and last name of every passenger on every booking. 

Please email the first and last name of every passenger to support@isango.com once you have made the booking. Customers without a valid ID card or with a name not matching the ticket will be refused the entrance. It will not be possible to change the name on a ticket once it is purchased.

If you buy the package with City Sightseeing Hop On Hop off 48h, the entrance ticket to the Colosseum will be booked for the 1st day of visit at the time indicated by you. By booking this package you can indicate the day and time of the visit you prefer.

Make sure you are at the meeting point at least 15 minutes before the selected time slot.

    Fantastic walking tour with Luka our guide who was professional and very knowledgeable. The use of headset radios was a great idea to hear Luka tell the group about the history of the attractions. Easy to arrange on the bus with the bus tour staff.

    Tour was good, its a busy place but the guide made it smooth and informative. The bus ride is not good In busy traffic times..... the information seemed to get out of sync over the ear piece. We could have casually strolled between some of the stops faster. But it was great weather and we weren’t In a rush. So fine enough??
