You can jump on and off the bus at will to explore sights further, go shopping or grab a bite to eat. Alternatively, stay on board and listen to an informative audio commentary, provided in multiple languages. A tour escort is on board to answer any queries you may have.

Buses depart between 9am and 7pm from June to September, and 9am to 5pm from October to May.
Frequency: every 15 to 20 minutes
Full Loop: 1 hour 40 minutes
Since this is an outdoor activity, the schedules might just change sometimes. Check the frequency and bus operating hours on the day of your tour just to be safe.
You may board the bus at any stop. The voucher can be exchanged at any of the stops directly with the driver. You can also visit the City Sightseeing® Roma Visitor Centre; where you can ask for more information on the service, bus location and get a tour map.

Voucher information: If you are travelling with a smartphone or a tablet you can present the voucher on your device for this activity. Just hop on the bus at any of the stops and simply scan the QR code on your phone.
Your voucher will be valid for 3 months from the date chosen at the time of booking.
We ensure that the tour runs on time, however at times the schedule and attraction timings might be revised due to local municipality notice, weather, traffic conditions, etc especially on Sunday and Public Holidays. Stops affected frequently include Colosseum, Circus Maximus and Trevi. Please confirm the schedule on the day of tour, just to be safe.
Due to the popularity of the Rome Hop-On, Hop-Off Tour, it may not be possible to board the first bus that comes to the stop. To help you plan your day be aware that buses tend to be at their busiest between 9am and 11:30am.
Due to the nature of the ancient streets of Rome it is not always possible for the stops to drop you at the attraction, however they are planned to be as close as possible.
We want everyone to be a part of our tours and hence there are special arrangements for wheelchair ramps. The wheelchairs can be collapsed down and stored on the bus. Unfortunately, electric wheelchairs cannot be accommodated due to technical reasons.
You can download a FREE APP offered by our local partner; SIGHTSEEING EXPERIENCE; it is available in more than 5 different languages and helps you to check your position on the city Sightseeing Map, so that you can easily see how to get to the nearest stop. You can even see the bus position in real time of all our buses and check the waiting time for the next bus at each stop. You can download the app on Google play or App store.
The Fontana Di Trevi (stop 7) has been replaced by Ludovisi (Stop 7B).
Vatican Museum will operate at below timings on the mentioned dates-
9am to 1:30pm (last entry) on 11 Jan 19
9am to 12:30pm (last entry) on 12 Jan 19.
There will be no change in bus schedules during Christmas and New Year. However, there might be a change in attraction timings. Please confirm the opening hours from the attraction website before visiting, just to be safe.

Large bags/backpacks/suitcases are not permitted in the Colosseum and Roman Forum. Only very small bags are allowed. Please do not bring these items with you on the day of your tour as there are no cloakrooms at the Colosseum.
The access to the bus is permitted for little and medium domestic animals under the discretion of the driver. Using muzzle and leash is mandatory and the holder must assure that the pet carrier is not in a poor state or that it does not contain food. The owner or the holder of the animal is liable for any damage caused by the animal.
For safety reasons it is strictly forbidden to bring luggage, awkward bags, big backpacks or bulky baggage on board the City Sightseeing buses.
