We caught the bus from the hotel across the Freeway and managed to travel up and down the strip taking in all the hotels and highlights that are worth seeing, some local information was given which was very helpful. At the end of the strip tour the bus swopped driver and commentator and continued downtown to the original Vegas with its chapels, pawn shops and bond holders. We used the bus on the second night to go downtown and see a completely different Vegas.
Had this tour the day after arriving and it was very useful as it helped us plan some of the other things we wanted to do / see. All the tour guides were knowledgeable and helpful. They also gave us useful tips on where to eat at reasonable prices.
We used the big bus tour on our first few days in Vegas to get used to where everything was. Id recommend the two day package, which for us was only a few dollars more. All the guides were great especially Nicole who we had on our first day, all the guides provide the same information but she added more personalised detail to the info. There's also a canopy on the buses which was heaven in the hot weather.
Famously known as Vegas, the city is the largest within the Mojave Desert. The city is popular for its vibrant nightlife, fine dining, entertainment, gambling, casino-style hotels, and shopping. You can find several references to the city in movies like Ocean’s Eleven, Viva Las Vegas, The Godfather Part II, Lost in America, and more.
Ditch public transportation to explore the city in an open-top bus tour aboard the hop on hop off bus. You can choose from three ticket options with Big Bus Las Vegas that also include a Night Tour along with a live guide.
Or discover everything the city has to offer with a package that includes a three-day Bus Tour, night tour, and Eiffel Tower experience. During your sightseeing trip, you can even combine a helicopter tour with your bus tour. And, finally, for those who’d like to check out other important sites in Nevada, try pairing your tour with a Grand Canyon helicopter tour. It’s what to do in Las Vegas when you’re looking for a little adventure!
Spring and fall are the best time to plan a visit to Las Vegas. From March to May and September to November, you can enjoy comfortable weather and cooler temperatures. You can score great deals throughout the year but April to September is the best time to experience Las Vegas while being far less crowded.
