The route has more than 20 stops, each one at a key point of interest. Jump on and off the bus at whim to see the sights or to catch a bite to eat. It’s your call!
The Big Bus ticket also offers 4 FREE walking tours of San Francisco’s most interesting areas: Chinatown, North Beach, Fisherman’s Wharf and the Barbary Coast.

Muir Woods Tour
At the start of the day, a shuttle will pick you up from your San Francisco hotel (remember to call the activity operator 24 hours ahead to confirm pick-up) and take you to tour center to board your coach.
You will drive out of town and through Marin County, one of America’s wealthiest areas, where you can admire the beautiful mansions set in immaculate gardens.
You will arrive at Muir Woods National Forest, one of the last remaining stands of Coast Redwoods. Among nature’s grandest creations, the sky-piercing giants in this forest can grow to almost 260 feet and live for more than 1,000 years. Walk through the cool green trails and gaze up at the towering trees. Many of them will be around 45 times as tall as you are!
Travel to the seaside town of Sausalito, where hillsides grade gracefully to an attractive shoreline and the breathtaking Golden Gate Bridge takes shape in the distance. Cliff-hanging cottages and luxurious houseboats give Sausalito a Mediterranean flavor, but the art galleries, shops and inhabitants have an unmistakably Californian character.
From here you have 2 options:
1. Stay in Sausalito and get the ferry back to San Francisco. The ferry fee must be paid at your own expense.
2. Travel back to San Francisco with the tour group and end the tour in San Francisco
Voucher information: You must print and surrender a paper version of your booking voucher for both tours in this combo (showing your voucher on a smartphone is not accepted). No refund can be given to customers without a printed copy of their voucher.
To preserve the natural environment of Muir Woods, the US National Parks Service has implemented a parking reservation system. As a result tour timings may be subject to change based on availability of parking. If any change is required to your tour we will contact you with the new tour timings.
Please call the Muir Woods supplier at least 24 hour prior to the start of the tour to confirm all details

Don't visit San Francisco April 20th. By no fault of the bus or it's drive we were stuck for a long time in traffic. The rest of the trip was comfortable and fun....Geri Jones, United States, 02/May/2018
